  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in is generally from 3:00 PM (2:00 PM for special rooms) until 6:00 PM.
    If you expect to arrive after 6:00 PM, please call and let us know.
    Check-out is by 10:00 AM (11:00 AM for special rooms).
    We can store your luggage or assist you with your car before you check in and after you checked out.

  • Can I use a credit card?

    Yes, we accept major cards such as VISA and JCB.

  • When do cancellation fees apply?

    Generally, from five days before your booking date.
    If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible.

  • What are the reservation desk hours?

    We take phone reservations from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
    Online reservations are available 24 hours.
    *Note: If all rooms are booked, we may have to decline further reservations.

  • Will I receive information by mail after I reserve? Do I need to pay a deposit?

    We only mail brochures upon request.
    No deposit is required.

Transportation & Access
  • Is parking available?

    Yes, we have a private parking lot with space for about 30 cars.
    If you plan to arrive by car, please mention this when making your reservation.
    If you arrive early, we can assist you with your car. Just let us know in advance.

  • Is there a shuttle service? How do I get there from the nearest station?

    We offer a shuttle service to and from Amanohashidate Station. If you know your arrival time, please contact us in advance. It’s about a three-minute walk from Amanohashidate Station to our facility.

  • Is there anything I should be aware of when visiting in winter?

    During the winter, there is a chance of heavy snowfall and some places along the road might accumulate snow, so we ask that visitors coming in winter either bring chains or have snow tires fitted. Since weather can be unpredictable, please get in touch by phone. We do offer umbrellas and boots, but note that sizes and quantities are limited.

About the Baths & Hot Springs
  • Do you have open-air baths?

    Yes, there are open-air baths for both men and women. Please relax and enjoy.

  • Do you offer private open-air baths?

    We are sorry, but we do not have any private baths.
    However, our special rooms come with their own open-air baths, which we highly recommend.

  • What are the operating hours and amenities in the large communal baths?

    Hot spring hours are from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
    During the beach season from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM, then 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM.

    The sauna is available from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

    We are sorry, but one-day bathing trips cannot be accommodated.

About Guest Rooms / Dining
  • What facilities do the rooms have?

    Facilities differ between our special rooms with open-air baths and our standard guest rooms.

  • Do you have non-smoking rooms?

    All rooms are non-smoking, and our dining venues are also non-smoking. Please use the designated smoking areas for smoking.

  • Are you equipped for accessibility / barrier-free needs?

    We do not have barrier-free guest rooms. However, since there are stairs in the Setsugekka Wing (some rooms on the second floor) and an elevator in the Mai Wing, please let us know in advance if you have accessibility concerns. We can arrange a first-floor room for you whenever possible.。

  • Is dinner/breakfast served in the guest rooms? What time does dinner start?

    Dinner and breakfast are typically served in the stone-oven restaurant “MON” or in our dining area.
    Dinner start times are generally 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM, or 7:00 PM, with service until 9:00 PM. Breakfast start times are generally 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM, with service until 9:30 AM.
    We will confirm your preferred times at check-in. If you will arrive late, please let us know in advance.

  • I have a food allergy. Can you accommodate that?

    If you have any food allergies, please let us know when you make your reservation, and we will do our best to accommodate you. We may not be able to handle requests made on the same day.

About Children
  • Can I stay with a small child?

    Absolutely.
    We welcome families and hope to be part of your memorable trip.
    We have a limited number of free items available to borrow, such as diaper pails, baby soap, baby baths, bath thermometers, child seats, and blankets.

  • How are child rates handled?

    ● Middle school (junior high) age and above: Adult rate
    ● Children’s rates: For elementary school-aged children
    ● Small children (age 0 to preschool): Considered “infants.”
    A facility usage fee of 2,200 JPY applies (no futon, no breakfast, no dinner).
    ● Futon upon request: +2,200 JPY
    ● Children’s yukata upon request: +1,100 JPY
    ● Child’s dinner (kids’ plate): +3,300 JPY; Child’s breakfast: +1,100 JPY; Kitsune udon: 880 JPY
